When is the new Convex Atlas Mobile app being launched?  

The app will be available in the App Store on November 9, 2022.

 

How does this product support the Commercial Services Platform for Revenue Acceleration?

As an extension of Atlas, this mobile application empowers sales teams to target and engage with prospects and customers from anywhere. Sales reps can identify their ideal customer targets, intelligently pursue properties, and actively manage their prospecting activities. 

 

Who is the intended audience for this product?

This app was built to help sales reps sell smarter, anywhere. 

 

Who has access to this product?

All users with paid sales rep licenses of Atlas will have access to the new app. 

 

Is my phone supported?

At this time, Atlas Mobile is supported on every Apple iPhone released after 2016 (i.e., iPhone SE, 7 or later) and running iOS 15 or greater. However, we do recommend the iPhones with the larger screen sizes, such as iPhone X or later. 

 

What system permissions do I need to enable?

When you first launch the new app, you’ll be asked “Allow ‘Atlas’ to use your location?” We strongly suggest that you tap “Allow While Using App” so that you can get the most out of Atlas. If you don’t allow it and want to turn it on at a later time, you’ll need to go to Settings > Atlas > Location and select “While Using the App.”

 

Is Atlas Mobile secure?

Yes. The app uses industry-standard encryption, allowing you to safely and securely perform your work. 

 

What features does Atlas Mobile have?

We overhauled every bit of the app to bring you the best experience possible so you can sell more, faster and easier than before. 

  • A new, intuitive UI makes Atlas even easier to use
  • The new dashboard shows you what matters, instantly
  • Quick access to cards at properties near your current location
  • New filters help fine-tune your property searches
  • Campaign colors keep ideal properties organized
  • Contact directory provides a refined lookup experience
  • Accounts and Opportunities access provides additional intelligence when you are on the go (for early access customers)

 

How do I get the new app?

If you already have the app installed on your device, the new app will come through as an update. In other words, you won’t have to do anything.

 

If you have yet to download the app, get it from the Apple App Store.

 

Does Atlas Mobile provide the same functionality as Atlas on my computer browser?

Nearly. We’ve prioritized the features you’ll need on the go, and there are others that we're working hard to bring to the mobile app. Use your computer browser to perform the following actions:

  • Add new custom properties
  • View and edit custom fields in properties
  • Search for new contacts by people attributes (e.g., job titles, industry)

 

If you have access to our Accounts and Opportunities Management features, you’ll be able to view your accounts and opportunities in Atlas Mobile. However, please use your computer browser to make any changes or add new activity. If you’d like to learn more about Accounts and Opportunities, speak with your Convex Customer Success Manager.

 

For customers with CRM integrations, you will be able to see CRM-synced properties and information from your CRM, but you will not be able to push net new Atlas properties or opportunities from the mobile app. Please initiate the push from the computer.

 

How do I search for new contacts using Atlas Mobile?

You can find contacts associated with properties by tapping the Directory button when viewing a property. 

 

Can I run the same search and filter queries?

Mostly. Except for custom field filters, we have added all the same filters you are used to on your computer browser. Search returns results within the visible map. You’ll need to zoom out to get more results.

 

Are the contact results the same?

Mostly. The source data for Atlas is the same, regardless of the device you’re accessing it on. However, on the web, we’ve prioritized job titles specific to commercial services decision makers. We are looking to bring over that prioritization to Atlas Mobile soon.

 

Will the work I do on my mobile app transfer to the computer version and vice versa?

Yes. Any work that you do on either platform will sync to the cloud. If you’re having issues getting the sync to happen, try logging out and logging back in.

 

Will the mobile app work if I don’t have a good cell signal?

As the data in Atlas is displayed in real time, if you have a poor signal or none at all, unfortunately, your experience will be degraded.
